Positive: Gorgeous property and the loft was amazing, thoughtful design and very comfortable (comfy bed!)

Negative: While we loved everything about our stay, the location made access to cafes and shops a little challenging, especially with many places closed on certain days. One small suggestion would be to provide a small milk (even a UHT) in the fridge for convenience, especially if you arrive late, as there’s nowhere nearby to buy it without driving.

Positive: We loved everything ! The property setting is charming, historically beautiful and all the modern inclusions that make accomodation comfortable. All set in a stunning garden.

Negative: Unfortunately the only restaurant in the area is the Carrick Inn Pub. We ate there both nights because there was nowhere else but the food was very disappointing to say the least and after great reviews. ???

Summary: We would highly recommend staying but take food with you to cook as kitchen is totally adequate. at The Stable Loft

Positive: Everything was 10/10 the location was beyond beautiful and the accommodation was the same, styled to perfection also! The eggs and biscuits left for us were a wonderful touch! As well as the ingredients for hot chocolate and marshmallows to roast on the fire! The owners were so kind and their recommendations for local restaurants and and cafes were 10/10. The area was so quiet and the gardens were lovely to walk around. We can’t wait to come back and stay again one day.

Our room was cosy and exceeded all of our needs! Nicole made our stay very comfortable and had great communication throughout our stay including plenty of tips about the surrounding areas. We couldn’t recommend it enough, the perfect little getaway!

Positive: Beautiful property, easy access, great parking, and lovely extra touches eg, outdoor fire pit, fresh eggs, fresh milk, and Tim Tams. Great location, near to tourist attractions and lovely quiet town. Nicole was approachable and accommodating.

Negative: A recycle bin would have been handy. Everything else was great.

Positive: Such a beautiful, private, historical property. The location was perfect for our purposes (Agfest). Nicole clearly has an eye for detail with everything we needed. From fresh farm eggs to outdoor fire pots to sit by on a chilly evening.

Negative: There was absolutely nothing not to like about this property! Although if stairs are a challenge for you, then you may wish to reconsider as the bedroom is upstairs.
