Summary: This property is stunning inside and outside. The managers are personally and professionally outstanding. They were extremely welcoming, flexible, and thoughtful of our needs. The property has a 9 hole golf course, and can organize hot air ballooning and fly fishing. Absolutely outstanding in every way.

Summary: the grounds were beautiful service was great the only complaint was that the meals were expensive and not much variety so we didn't eat dinner we brought our own supplies but no fridge which we did no before hand wich was fine but if we stayed a few days it would be a problem for drinks and food as not everyone is rich

Summary: My husband and I stayed at Quamby for our final two nights of a 3 week driving holiday in Tasmania. It was the most beautiful place to relax and enjoy the luxury of the old home and the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Emma and Sara were the most delightful hosts and Sara's cooking was amazing. We found it very difficult to leave.

Summary: Our stay was simply amazing from the moment we entered the front door, we were treated more like returning family or long lost friends. Sarah and Emma are amazing hosts with every detail taken care of, both have amazing personalities and a genuine desire to get to know their guests. Using the whole house to make your stay more like a home away from home with breakfast and dinners served in more intimate parts of the house or taking tea or coffee in one of the lounge areas. The food and service were fantastic thanks again Sarah and Emma for making our 5th Wedding Anniversary a day to cherish. Jeanine & Greg

Summary: Our experience at Quamby estate started with the drive into the grounds. The picturesque setting, beautiful old Oaks that lined the path to reveal the stately home nestled at the end of the drive. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and given a brief run down of the estate and the facilities that we could enjoy. After wondering through the house, each of the common areas provided an opportunity to escape, either lost in a book or to catch up on an email or two. Opening a side door the grounds revealed manicured lawns and views over the surrounding countryside that was just spectacular. Every area of the estate was beautifully maintained and revealed an attention to detail that was perfectly in tune with the history, age and beauty of the house and estate. The room was a good size, very clean and had all the modern comforts you needed. The double bed was awesome, soft, comfortable and warm and the bathroom fittings elegant. Our experience with Quamby estate was out of the world and we only wish we had more time to enjoy dinner there too.
