Positive: Helpful staff. Spacious rooms, spa and gym. Managed to grab a couple massages at short notice. Nice location overlooking Mount Edgcumbe

Negative: Beds weren’t super comfortable and twin beds were quite narrow

Positive: The hotel was pleasant and comfortable but not what I expected for a 4* hotel. The dinner we had was lovely and great value for money

Negative: Whilst we appreciate the hotel is out in the country and surrounded by a lot of greenery, there were a lot of flies all around, even in the bedroom. We would have expected more to have been done to keep them away. The internet in the bedroom was not good. The staff were fine but in the bar maybe a bit too much time spent with customers they know.

Positive: Staff friendly & helpful. Some parts of hotel a bit tired/dated. The current swimming pool is rubbish, but I think they are planning a new one. Breakfast fine, coffee not so good though. Overall , good location and would stay again.
