Summary: Just read the other reviews. I arrived late and really felt like i was a chore to the receptionist. Then she wanted a credit card which is normal to cover drinks etc, but I asked why and she replied ‘for damage’! No explanation.

Summary: Staff are fab but hotel looking dated in all areas. Things such as hot tub with no bubbles etc. Prices of drinks in the bar are ridiculous even by hotel standards, over £7.50 for a lager.

Summary: The hotels furnishings and amenities were the same 25 years ago. Very worn and tired. Service in the restaurant slow. Cost to stay did not reflect the service and quality received. Lovely location, poor quality.

Summary: The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly but the hotel is very dated. I am sure in the 1970's it would have been amazing and the price of the room is over inflated for the quality of the accomodation.
