Positive: The caravan is lovely. Very tastefully furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. The location was amazing. We were on plot 12 at Lathkill Caravan site. It was a very large plot, surrounded by trees and shrubs so really private. The toilet and shower block were just a couple of minutes walk around the corner. As stated in previous reviews the local pub is just down the road. We ate there on Sunday. Meals were delicious and great portion size! The bar staff and local people were all extremely friendly. There are numerous public footpaths from the village. We picked up a walk from the back of the mere, across from the pub which took us across open fields, through a farm and into part of the Limestone Way and we came out onto Lathkill Dale just across the road from the campsite.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike. Linking the TV to campsite Internet was a bit of a pain for technophobes like us but amazingly I managed to do it! Just meant we could watch something on Amazon after getting back from the pub

Positive: Very comfortable and cosy, so beautiful and quirky. The owner was very helpful and warming, if I had any questions I was able to message and he would get back as soon as possible. Some beautiful scenery, and only up the road from a lovely pub.

Negative: Nothing, I can’t fault anything

Summary: Relaxing weekend away, with beautiful views, cosy and comfortable.

Positive: Beautiful inside & exceptionally well equipped with high end appliance & crockery. Very warm & cosy with large super comfy bed & lovely lounging area. Gary was a perfect host & bent over backwards to resolve a small issue that we had. Great location, friendly pub 5 min walk away serving good food. Walks in stunning Lathkill Dale across the road. We had a lovely relaxing weekend.

Negative: No views & static caravans quite near but just nit picking really didn’t spoil our enjoyment

Positive: We liked the iconic looks of the Silver Spirit, the interior complimented the overall effect. The interior fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and added to the experience. We were very comfortable in the sitting area in the evenings and the sleeping area was warm and cosy.

Negative: Unfortunately, because of the wet weather conditions, the condensation on the inside of the windows was difficult to control.

Summary: Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the Silver Spirit, a great experience.
