Positive: Lovely homely property with a beautiful garden. Nice social communal areas. The kitchen is very well stocked which makes visiting for a few days very easy. Nick was absolutely lovely and added lots of personal touches to ensure we had an amazing stay.

Positive: Everything. Friendly owner who greeted us in a timely manner and showed us around. A lovely, spacious house off the beaten track. Well furnished with a beautiful garden. All mod cons including barbeque, plenty of crockery and cutlery as well as glasses, games and books. It suited us brilliantly. The are also has some wonderful walks, lovely towns and villages and some great pubs.
Negative: Nothing. From the greeting to the comfortable beds it was all wonderful....
Summary: A beautiful space which suited old friends catching up after quite a few years...

Positive: I have reviewed many large properties for Booking.com over the years (booking for family and college reunions) but this is probably the best I've ever stayed in, and was certainly the best equipped. The property is wonderfully spacious with a large and well equipped kitchen, a lounge are the can easily accommodate 10 people and, more importantly, a dining table that can actually accommodate the number of people that the house can sleep. (You'd be surprised how many properties can't comfortably seat the number of guests they can sleep.) But beyond that, the house was really nicely decorated, the beds were super comfortable, the push-button showers were hot and had good water flows, the garden was lovely and there were so many thoughtful touches in the equipment and fittings. And the location (down a private track) was quiet and peaceful, yet within a short drive of Buxton and Bakewell. Perfect. I plan on going back to this one.
Negative: Not a thing. It was all good.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space and seating for a large party. No problem with hot water for showers either! Host very friendly and helpful.
Negative: The steps at the top of the property are potentially dangerous.

Positive: It’s very spacious, beautifully furnished, very stylish and very luxurious, a big kitchen with lots of pots and pans, a high chair & travelling cot was provided, the bathrooms were great, and the rural location was exactly what we wanted. There was also good prove of books and games to enjoy.

Positive: Really accomodating host, even got us a welcome package! Way more facilities available compared to other places, e.g. plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel, board games and books. Brilliant location whilst still being secluded enough to accomodate bigger groups. Couldn't have had a better stay, will definitely be back!
