Positive: A wonderful B and B. Hosts were so friendly and helpful; accommodation was clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and the dogs loved exploring the gardens. Breakfast was delightful especially when taken on the balcony of our room in the morning sun. Good fresh local produce.

Positive: Fantastic quiet location overlooking the Fowie River. We had breakfast every day, and brought in supper some days, on our terrace overlooking the river every day as it was so relaxing and delightful. We loved the owners’ commitment to environmentalism and enjoyed living off the grid. The water is all natural and energy from solar power. The facilities are high standard and the breakfasts great. Most of all we enjoyed the many acres of land belonging to the hotel.

Negative: The steep but short walk up from the car park was a bit of a nuisance.

Positive: A wonderful place to stay, peaceful, great views and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole place is off-grid, which is very impressive, and in no way compromises your stay. You can even get a delicious breakfast delivered to your room. Highly recommend this property and hope to stay again. Only point to bear in mind is that there’s no WiFi, which is actually a plus if you want to relax. I could get phone signal in the right spot!

Positive: It's a lovely place and convenient for the area we wanted to explore. We liked breakfast and talking to Karen.

Negative: We knew there was not going to be WiFi, which we would have much appreciated, but the Internet signal was poor and made it difficult to organise our affairs. The access road did require strong nerves but we were warned. The balcony which was a great space but it faced east and not warm enough in the eveningd.
