Summary: Great hotel. Friendly staff. Good room, everything you need. Clean and comfortable . Good quality breakfast with good choice. Great position in Llanberis. Ideal for doing Snowdon. Snowdon railway a short walk away. Snowdonia is stunning.

Summary: Clean hotel with good choice of food. Breakfast was plentiful and a great choice. Bed was a little too soft for me but room was warm and comfortable. Location was excellent for walking Eryri and using the mountain railway.

Summary: We booked a twin room but when we checked in it was a double. They changed it. Cleanliness was OK but with lots of harvester spiders and cobwebs in the 'dark corners'. The window would not close properly - we reported it when we left.

Summary: Lovely location near Llyn Padarn, next to Snowdon Mountain railway. Nice public areas and gardens, although a little bit faded in some places. Room was ok, but shower room very cramped and nowhere to put anything. Good breakfasts with wide choice.

Summary: Room was not cleaned prior to check in. Dirt everywhere with unclean carpets, toilet and dated decor. I think a part of the mess was that they only clean your room when you ask, so rooms are not cleaned often. Shower did not work as hot water was not working. Walls were paper thin, so lots of noise overnight. Paid a lot to stay here in my opinion too. Breakfast was good and staff were nice but aside from the location the property offers very little.

Summary: I booked a lower priced room that put me in a building across from the lodge, on the ground floor, down a dark hall, and the last door. No wifi, shower leaked for guest prior so carpet was soaked. Bed was hard with ridges in mattress. No take away cups for coffee this morning. Staff very concerned if i was a guest i hah to verify my name and room number every time i walked into a hotel space. No take away cups for coffee, when everyone is there to go to the train station why couldn't i take a cup of coffee with me this rainy morning.
