Positive: Beautifully presented in a gorgeous location

Negative: I know it’s the season for spiders but there were a lot of them and many cobwebs on arrival and then throughout the stay. Using a vacuum in all the corners at change over would reduce the spiders. My wife is from Brazil where most spiders are dangerous.

Positive: What a find!! Such a beautiful village and the Packhorse was just fabulous. Can't wait to return. Lovely welcome to a cream tea. Lovely decor. We had Wisteria so there are steps but a cute little balcony. Our hosts couldn't have been lovelier.

Negative: Remember to pack towels and be aware they charge for laundry as there are no laundry facilities in the flat.

Positive: It was a wonderful apartment, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful position, with all that you would need during your stay, even down to dog towels and bowls if you forget to take them. There was a wonderful welcome tray with delicious scones, jam and cream, plus other delicious treats. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard with umbrellas, where you can either sit and eat your meals or just sit and chat The owners were very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful week away. We were in a perfect position, whether we wanted to go out walking or just relax

Positive: The accommodation was spotlessly clean and equipped to a high standard. On arrival we were greeted by Paul who showed us to our accommodation and explained all 'the need to knows'. There was a lovely welcome tray providing a cream tea (jam first, of course!) and other goodies. The area is tranquil and picturesque, providing the perfect getaway.

Positive: Paul the owner made us very welcome we were greeted with some lovely treats .The place was decorated for Xmas and looked beautiful.unfortunately it was the weekend of the terrible storm and the property along with the whole village lost power but Paul checked on us several times and even drove into the nearby Town to buy us fish and chips for our evening meal.Have booked again for next year when hopefully the weather will be kinder to us.

Positive: cosy little cottage. really quiet. beautiful patio and gardens. hosts very helpful weather changed to very cold but the cottage was kept very warm lovely walk through the woods to other villages and tea gardens. less than a 10 minute drive to big supermarkets in Minehead. lots of beaches around. Dog friendly.
