Positive: Christa was an excellent host - she went above and beyond to cater to my vegan diet. The building is stunning and beautifully decorated. It was a bonus to be so close to the beach.

Summary: I wish I was able to stay for longer than one night.

Positive: This historic house has been lovingly restored by the owners. It is full of original features and the furniture, furnishings and decor is all in keeping with the age of the property. A very comfortable bed with quality bedding and a pristine en suite with a great shower made for an enjoyable stay. The hospitality extended to having the use of a delightful, cosy sitting room. Breakfast, served in the beautiful dining room overlooking the sea and gardens was superb including fresh berries, yogurt, granola and a full cooked breakfast. The Old Vicarage is an absolute gem in a beautiful setting and is a pleasure to stay in. There was attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Positive: A very friendly welcome with tea and sweat treats brought up on arrival. A lovely house and decor. We liked the flag board on the hallway to show guests' origin. A wonderful breakfast choice. Entertainment provided by the peacock, guinea fowl, and chickens. A great view out to sea at breakfast.

Negative: Three minor things to not make it excellent. A wobbly shower fixing, a socket for the kettle, didn't work, and slightly grubby windows for the sea view at breakfast.

Positive: Lovely quiet location, originality and period features. Value for money and excellent host with excellent breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the cold drinks in the fridge. Lovelly wildlife and surroundings.

Negative: Sink in room was a little small when getting washed in morning, but this was a minor thing.

Summary: Relaxed, chilled and cosy stay we will definitely be back 😄
