Summary: Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus.

Ideal for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway to sleep beneath the stars, or for families that just want to getaway from it all. Excellent location for stargazers, and tranquil walks Catherine is an amazing hostess. Warm welcome on arrival. Very helpful with carrying our baby up to our room in his car seat. Provided a travel cot, and froggy 🐸 for our little man. Knowledgeable of the history of The Old Rectory, and the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent Thank you for a delightful stay

Summary: This is an excellent B and B. Clean, quiet, safe, affordable and comfortable. It is a bit remote, in a little village, so do take care when driving to it. Our Driving app directed us through some single lane, gravel roads because that was the shortest way. But you don’t have to do that, as we discovered.

Summary: We received a very warm welcome from our host on a very windy late afternoon. The house was very welcoming and the guest room we shared was very cozy and inviting. The ensuite room was very clean and the view of the slate roof from the bathroom window was a delight. We drove about 10 minutes into Ruthin for dinner at a pub and then settled into our room for the night. Breakfast was served in the dining room with each cold and hot selection being delivered to us from the kitchen. The homemade orange marmalade was a special treat for our toast! We departed with satisfying smiles to continue on our journey. Highly recommend.
