Summary: The room was very very tired , chipped bath, windows that don’t fully close, tea and coffee facilities closed in a filthy dingy cupboard, booked a double room for our wedding anniversary and we were given a room with two single beds pushed together. Would not return and would not recommend really disappointing stay

Summary: My last son and I stayed here every Christmas, since then I still come back with family every year. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms and beautiful hotel.

Summary: Ruthin Castle is a beautiful location with a good selection of rooms. Staff was friendly and parking was sufficient. A would rate it as a god mid-range stay. We did not take advantage of the spa services so we can not rate that aspect. Our main complaint was our room had a pretty bad sour / moldy smell. After a few minutes you are "nose-blind" to it, but it was a bit overwhelming when we first step into the room.
