Summary: This is an old castle so dont expect luxury. The room i was in was dared and lazy but the small nuce but very small. Gym was ok but dated Grounds were fantastic and good parking They had hot tubs but you have to book. Evenn meal was just ok but not alot of choice and expensive but the restaurant was not great to eat in. Breakfast was awfull and ants on my table. I did report this. Id not fo back

Summary: Second stay, just as enjoyable as the first. Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size though it can be a bit of a walk from reception and a little maze like. Nice location although the building itself is showing signs of its age. Spa downstairs is well equipped and there are lots of peacocks wandering around the grounds. Area is very nice, close to Snowdon, not too far from Chester or the coast.

Summary: The room was very very tired , chipped bath, windows that don’t fully close, tea and coffee facilities closed in a filthy dingy cupboard, booked a double room for our wedding anniversary and we were given a room with two single beds pushed together. Would not return and would not recommend really disappointing stay
