Positive: This is a lovely cottage on a working farm. There were cute chickens and baby lambs being born, and a friendly cat. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated, well furnished with everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. The bed I used was one of the most comfortable I have ever used and I slept so well. The owners are lovely, friendly people.
Summary: Superb self-catering accommodation in wonderful mountain landscape.

Positive: The welcome pack was lovely and unexpected. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The heating was on which was needed but we were able to turn down easily. Far enough from the road so didn't hear any passing traffic
Negative: Perhaps providing bath towels

Positive: Fantastic location to walk Scafell Pike and adjacent walks. Very quiet and peaceful Extremely clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lovely west facing courtyard on sunny days. A very handy drying room and extra freezer.
Negative: We liked it all!

Positive: The location is wonderful, the cottage is lovely and clean - facilities are great, including drying room. We thought the cooker didn't work but it did (we never found the instructions) and we could have got in early but didn't realise.
