Positive: Clean, modern, cosy, quiet. Great for R&R. Bedding was lush, like sleeping on a cloud! Plenty of cosy throws to keep warm too. Nice toiletries and great amenities. Social club 2 minutes walk up the road, highly recommend as super welcoming, friendly and fun. Great location. A great place for a digital detox. Lovely local pubs, The Rising Sun, Hare and Hounds.

Negative: Parking, only one vehicle space available on the driveway. Not the easiest place to find, but additional instructions were given via message.

Positive: A very warm and welcoming place! Perfect for 2 people for a few days. Great location and parking. Good communication from the host aswell

Negative: The sofa bed was slightly uncomfortable 2 people, but the mezzanine bed is accessible and comfy for 2.

Positive: It's a small self contained unit (roughly the size of a large garage) with a living area, well equipped kitchen, a decent toilet/shower room and small private outside area with washing line. There's everything you need for your stay. The location is rural, but close to main roads, the Forest and coast. For runners like myself, Brockenhurst parkrun is an 8 minute drive and the annual New Forest Marathon events start 20 minutes away at the showground. I also visited Bucklers Hard, Mottisfont Abbey and Romsey Abbey which are all recommended. Melissa, the owner is very welcoming and lives in the main house, but entry is through a side gate so you probably won't see too much of her!

Negative: A little difficult to find as there's only a small sign, but once you know, you know. You'll also need reasonable manoeuvring skills to get a car in as there are usually two other vehicles (sometimes three) in quite a small yard. I'd recommend reversing in, so you come out forwards. It all works though. The mezzanine floor with a double bed is accessible via a steep ladder and only recommended for the brave, those who won't need to go down it to use the toilet during the night and people who are not planning to run the New Forest Marathon during their stay. There is an alternative sofa bed downstairs which is a little lumpy, but a safer option that I used.
