Positive: Beautiful house clean comfortable very much enjoyed staying in it would diffently stay again they thought of everything for all kinds of holiday makers. It was carefully considered. 4 Mile from alston village which is cute and the village its in is lovely and park close by for young children.

Negative: Bit far i didn't realise how far it was from our family in warcop n Sedbergh. And church in kirby Stephen which our family run. But it was a nice hour drive .. my fault. For not knowing the area. Nothing not to like really only issues was we found you have a bad woodlouse issues.. lots of them .especially in kitchen and door way.. my daughter found one in back bedroom on Friday night too. Never used the cooker didn't no how .. too complicated I admit I was too scared to use any of the facilties like that.. only used the bath n shower .. water wasnt really hot enough though.

Positive: Excellent location, and the accommodation was fantastic with every need anticipated and covered. The property was spotlessly clean, had every facility we required, and was immaculately prepared for our Christmas visit including full decorations, lights and a Christmas tree provided by the host (plus a welcome hamper that we thoroughly enjoyed). This was our first Christmas spent away from home as a family, and it was a real treat with a schedule of walks interspersed with visits to nearby Alston and Hexham. We are looking forward to booking again!

Positive: House has been lovingly restored, it is beautiful. It is cosy yet functional, modern yet classy. Everything you would need and more have been thought about. The location is so tranquil and the neighbours really helpful

Negative: Although not a criticism, make sure you are well stocked as there is very little locally. The local shop and cafe have differing opening times. We had to drive a distance to get a meal, though we did much of our own cooking and have brought plenty with us
