Summary: My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We unfortunately were evacuated due to wildfires in the middle of the week and Jan was very helpful, caring and accommodating for us as we had to leave abruptly in the middle of the night. Otherwise the property is beautiful. The cabin is spacious and feels like home and we loved the kitchen and location to near rivers and waterfalls.

Summary: Perfect spot for a peaceful holiday in nature. Great location for walking trails and cycling. We also enjoyed spending time in Brevard. It's a lovely welcoming town with lots of creative vibes and a great bookshop. Earth Mountain Bicycle (bike hire/shop), Brevard Yoga Studio and Brevard Pottery are all highly recommended.

Summary: Bear Creek is very inviting, well stocked and comfy. The back porch is amazing for morning coffee and the fire pit is perfect to end the night with a cocktail. Exactly what we needed to visit with dear friends, relax and reset after a few crazy months.

Summary: Just be a little more specific or direction to take the garbage to the recycling center. It took us awhile to fined it. Just tell them to turn right at the dollar store. (They hide it well)

Summary: Long weekend with some lifelong friends. This is a great property, very comfortable and inviting. All my communications with the owners were seamless and all questions answered quickly and completely. Small things add up, and you can tell that the owners have done a lot of little things that add a bit of an upscale feeling to a very comfortable place. I wouldn't hesitate to plan another trip here.

Summary: We had a wedding to attend and loved this property. It was very clean and was exactly as described. The only negatives I have are it needs more light in the downstairs bedroom. I couldn't find extra normal sized trash bags. Also it's very strange that most of the windows didn't have blinds or curtains and you can see directly into the house at night. However none of these reasons are enough to drop a star and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you
