Positive: Lovely cottage, everything necessary to make a meal, lots of hot water and quite warm enough in May to be without a heater. IGA close and easy to access self guided walks . Great to have the washing machine and dryer.

Negative: Was a 25 min walking to the bowing club for dinner but ok in cool weather. No / few footpaths. Couldn't find where to put recyclables.

Summary: Great place to stay in lightning ridge, much better than most hotels and motels we saw in town.

Positive: We were a party of three (a couple+a single adult) and the accommodation was excellent in that the main bedroom was in the cottage, and the other was in a separate building called The Little Gem, which suited our needs very well. The Little Gem had it's own ensuite, television, and had airconditioning. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. A well equipped laundry was housed in the same building as The Little Gem. We didn't get to meet our host, Naomi, but she was always available by phone if we had any questions and responded promptly. We would certainly recommend the cottage . One of the best we've rented in many years of travelling.
