Summary: Everyone should visit Manor House and West Bexington. Quiet, personal and good for your soul. The rooms (or the room we had) had a somewhat poorer standard than the common areas. But net and clean and I had the best night sleep at Manor House during my vacation. Staff and locals made you feel at home and cared for at the best way possible.

Summary: The room was spacious with a comfortable kingsize bed. The staff were friendly and helpful accomodating an early cooked breakfast as we needed an early checkout. Unfortunately our evening meal was very disappointing with the wrong starter being served twice and poor main courses. We were offered a discount which we accepted but it put a damper on our stay.

Summary: Location is beautiful and the accomodation was full of character. Food was lovely, we had a selection of starters for dinner and breakfast in the morning (broccoli with breakfast was an interesting touch). The only real issues with the room were that it felt quite small being up in the eaves, wouldn't have managed 2 nights in the small space. There was a seaview, beautiful, but had to stand and look through a small window to see the views. The shower head really needed a very good clean, it was black! Some attention needed in places but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Summary: Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Hotel dates back to the 16th Century and therfore has no lift so if infirm or have mobility issues beware, some steps are quite step. Room was clean, loads of storage and had wonderful sea views all round. Free tea ,coffee and water were a plus. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and the full English was fantastic. Service was quick, fuss free and friendly throughout our stay. Large free car park . Set in a small hamlet with no shops or facilities as such so don't expect Blackpool! . Peace and quiet the order of the day (and night). great as a base to explore the surrounding area, beaches and towns. A car is a must because of the distances and hills. Good road access to all of Dorset. Highly recommended.

Summary: Lovely old quiet country hotel with beautiful gardens and views. Very short staffed on arrival but all friendly & helpful. Comfy room & beds, crisp sheets. Beds made up each day. Bottled water, towels, shower gel/shampoo, hairdryer all supplied. Fabulous shower. Tea/coffee in room too. Only thing missing were some coasters. (Dont like putting hot mugs directly on furniture.) The carpet had seen better days, but all in all a lovely room. Delicious choice of breakfasts & evening meals beautifully cooked. The perfect relaxing seaside break we needed. Would definitely stay again 👍.
