Summary: Quiet and peaceful. Property exactly as advertised with lovely small garden area and small field amongst trees out the back, with deer spotted one morning. Very clean, owner had thought of everything from small torches in drawers to cleaning materials in cupboards and spare lightbulbs if required. Property very warm, and within about 30-40 minutes drive of nearby Northumberland and Scottish Border places of interest to visit. Property only 2 miles over the Border from England. Welcome pack of biscuits, cakes and honey a nice touch and a pint of milk in the fridge. Tea, sugar and coffee pods available also if required. Visitor information available in Lodge and visitor book to leave your reviews.

Summary: Very comfortable and clean cottage. It had everything we needed and in a lovely, quiet location. The welcome basket of honey and cake was a lovely touch and milk in the fridge. Would definitely stay again.
