Luxury converted barn in beautiful rural Lincolnshire.
The Lodge at Thorpe House is a stunning, open plan, totally unique, light and airy , spacious, newly refurbished, well equipped Lodge, bursting with character combining beautiful antique furniture featuring a stunning 19th Century 5 foot French Chateau Ballroom Chandelier and new fully fitted open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Oak flooring.
A five bar gate leads to gravelled parking and a pretty ornate archway leads to a totally private enclosed garden with plenty of outdoor seating as the garden is a total sun trap.
The space
Sympathetic conversion of The Lodge has resulted in a light and spacious holiday home with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Quality features and fittings including antique furniture within the original building to create an atmosphere which is both luxurious and relaxing.
There are two large comfy, sofas, smart 50 inch Freesat TV and fast and free WiFi
The Lodge has the added luxury of a heating and air conditioning unit, ideal for those barmy summer days and cosy winter evenings.
There is a well equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking, Including gas hob and electric fan assisted oven, fridge/ freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, china, glassware, cutlery and utensils.
Fully fitted shower room with Illuminated bathroom cabinet with inbuilt de-mister function and shaving point. Solid Oak base unit with beautiful travertine top and hand wash basin. Large fluffy towels and a selection of quality toiletries and hairdryer. Ironing board and iron included.
One downstairs bedroom with double bed and a second double bed on the upper mezzanine level both having quality mattress, quality cotton bedding and pillows.
The Lodge is completely self contained with dedicated off road parking for at least two cars.
Please note we do not accept bookings for guests with children under 10.
Please message us when booking if you wish to bring a well behaved dog. For this we make an additional charge of £35 per dog per stay. Please note dogs must not be left unattended in The Lodge at any time.

Summary: We had a great stay - the property is lovely and was perfect to discover Lincolnshire from. Off the beaten track, this place was very quiet and great for our family of 3 and a dog. The host was great and very helpful and very kindly gave us some of their chickens fresh eggs. Would recommend if you're after a quiet, relaxing break...

Summary: A lovely cottage with all you need for a nice and easy stay. Cottage was very well equipped and very clean, host was there to welcome us and answer any questions. The chickens outside the kitchen window were excellent waste disposal units and interesting to watch. Nice peaceful rural location.

Summary: Really lovely peaceful cottage. Very well presented and equipped, loved going on walks in the area seeing various wildlife incl owls and deer. Cheryl and Paul were around if we needed them but kept their distance. We're definitely hoping to revisit.
