Summary: Good value price, great location, but the hottest room I've ever stayed in. No air con. There was a fan, but my word it was uncomfortable even with that on full blast. Also can hear the train announcements from about 6am

Summary: upgraded but room not ready at 14.00 so we went to JDW in Lime St station for a beer (2minutes) and quick efficient friendly check in at around 3.30. nice room with bath tub (bonus). super breakfast (but smallish room given number of rooms so we had to wait a couple of mornings) recommended

Summary: We booked this at the last minute having won tickets to a Liverpool match. The location is great, close to everything without being troubled with noise. We were given a room on the top floor and were not disturbed on either of the two nights. The room was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The only issue was it was very warm. I would suggest a top sheet is provided allowing you to set the quilt aside. Aircon would be great but I suspect to try and retrofit that now would be expensive. The attached bar has a great happy hour(s) meaning two G&T's only cost £6.30!! A shout out also for the breakfast buffet. Normally I don't like these as they tend to be bland but this was the tastiest breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. All of the ingredients were delicious. Overall a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: From the check in to check out the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant staff were very friendly and very professional. We got to check in early which was great. The hotel’s location is great for a city centre break with buses out to Anfield stadium very regularly

Summary: Car park attendant very rude and abrupt which we reported to the hotel reception as I think it should be noted it doesn’t put the hotel in a good light having rude staff. Other than that Susan on reception was so warm, friendly and very helpful. Beautiful steak fir evening meal .. will return in the future.
