Summary: The room was boiling with no aircon and tiny windows, miles away from reception and had a sky light on the ceiling above the bed with no curtain / blind. It must have been 30c and light at 5am.

Summary: Lovely hotel. Old fashioned feel and really nice decor. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Only reframe is not spending more time in it to enjoy it. The area is very picturesque so if you’re visiting definitely check this out as it has a really lovely classy feel.

Summary: Booked in here after Fence Lodge hotel cancelled our booking with 48 hours to go. Also booked dinner at Lawrence but on arrival told restaurant inoperable.! Hotel car parking impractical for any car other than a mini but manager very kindly moved his car in order to accommodate mine.
