Positive: Excellent location for us to visit friends and family in the area. This is the fourth time we have stayed here, Caroline and Marcus are such wonderful hosts as they always make sure everything you could possibly need for our stay is provided. They are also very dog friendly, and our dog is delighted to go to Garden Cottage as there is always a doggie basket waiting for her!

Negative: Nothing not to like to like at all!! Everything is absolutely perfect at Garden Cottage!

Positive: Fabulously furnished cottage, everything you could possibly need is provided. Caroline is such a wonderful host and so welcoming, by the time we left we felt like we had known her for ages! she even provides a dog welcome pack which our collie thoroughly enjoyed!

Positive: What can I say! Everything, and more, was to hand, the whole property fully equipped with anything which might be needed. The cottage is in a quiet location and has both a paved area and a grassy one and there are easy walks all around. A shop is a few minutes walk away as are 2 pub's., but check opening hours. The village is somewhat larger than expected and, one special point, everyone was so very friendly. If one does not want to use a car then there is an hourly bus service. The owners, Caroline and Marcus are happy to help in any way possible. Cannot be faulted. I did not want to leave! Harry (Cocker Spaniel). p.s. my human companion loved it also.

Positive: Gorgeous character full cottage with a private courtyard. We had an amazing stay in Sabden. Caroline & Marcus (and the dogs!) were super friendly and accommodating. They made us feel really welcome and the cottage was full of special touches (freshly baked cake on arrival, lots of nice toiletries, a foot spar!, goodies for your dogs and the list goes on!). The cottage is situated in a quiet corner of Sabden with loads of fantastic walks from the door and even more a short drive away. The village is a hidden gem. It was so easy to cook and live in the cottage, it was fully equipped with everything you needed. It was such a cosy place to relax in the evening. We absolutely loved it and we will be recommending this place ☺️ Thank you for our fabulous stay

Positive: Very comfortable and spacious accommodation with its own little courtyard for sitting outside. Had a piece of cake on arrival, and even an Easter card during the week. Caroline seems to get a kick out of adding those extra touches that makes her guests' stay a bit special. Lovely house, lovely people, lovely village and a great holiday.

Negative: It's difficult to see how it could have been improved.

Summary: Had a really lovely time - would recommend without hesitation.
