Summary: We had booked the Whole hog room in January 2026 for my birthday celebration but on arrival the room was changed,to the Oinkers room 5 and said we hadn’t booked the Whole hog room which was very disappointing. I then had a notification on my phone to say the room had been changed. The Sunday lunch was warm on arrival and we had to ask for steak knives to cut the beef sirloin, my didn’t even eat hers. We were given a complimentary drink as compensation. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. On closer inspection of the room quite a few small issues like bulbs missing and lights not working which should be rectified for the price you pay for this room. Parking was great, behind the hotel and the breakfast was good quality and hot.

Summary: Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return.

Summary: Super room, spacious quirky, huge tin bath which we both enjoyed, seperately I might add. Good sized bathroom with shower. The only issue was not cleanliness but dust in the room. I'm not saying it hadn't been dusted but there was dust flying around that settled on surfaces. Perhaps it's the nature of the room we were in but be aware if you are dust sensitive that may be an issue for you. There is an outside area with hot tub which we did not use. The food was really good, excellent choice at breakfast and dinner, every meal was cooked to a good standard. Overall service was good with a couple of exceptions. You can tell someone who has worked in establishments like this for a while. They are able to deal with people and have an air of confidence in managing situations, even difficult ones. The Immaculate Pig has a few of these types who were excellent, unfortunatley the one we encountered at dinner on the first night who wasn't. Initially she advised there was no booking for us, as we had booked at check in we knew there was. On being shown to a table we were given menus but not advised about the specials board which we only discovered later. The water we asked for didn't materialise and our order taken in an unprofessional manner. A slight issue was the bar after our meal. The first night it was fine but the second raucous and noisy as it is open to the public, we would have preferred a quiet reidents area. Overall we would have no hesitation in returning though.

Summary: Stayed with my Wife for our first Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Room 2. It was absolutely incredible. There were a few extra touches such as anniversary card, truffles and macrons and rose petals on the bed with towels folded into swans. The copper bath was huge. There was a hot tub in the garden area that was also perfect for two. There was a well stocked mini bar with some thoughtful extras. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was faultless. We had breakfast served in our room that was also delicious, with plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway.
