Positive: The Byre is gorgeous. Well laid out, quiet, clean and spacious. The kitchen is huge and houses an Aga which comes with a really detailed cook book which makes using it a doddle. There are plenty of pots and pans, and there’s coffee and tea as well. The beds are really comfortable and the showers are nice and hot. It is situated in the middle of nowhere but within easy reach of civilisation if you want the shops or a pub. The hosts are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Positive: Met by the owner who lives in the adjacent property. An exceptional conversion of byres and barns . Very nice that the 3 bedrooms are in separate parts of the property offering their own space to occupants. The kitchen/dining room has a high ceiling and is remarkably spacious but very warm due to the AGA cooker.
