Positive: The breakfast was great and all the staff were lovely and helpful. The airport pick up made it very easy and was cheaper than a cab.

Negative: The walls were thin. I could hear someone snoring, and someone's alarm sounded for about 5 minutes at 5 am and woke me up. I was surprised that the bathroom was shared because it wasn't advertised (either way), but I accept that this is also partly my fault for assuming that no mention equaled private bathroom.

Summary: Recommended if you are happy with budget accommodation. Staff and breakfast were wonderful!

Positive: Vera and the whole team at Ideal gave us such a positive first impression of Fiji! We loved the breakfast and afternoon tea and enjoyed the opportunity for chatting with fellow travelers and staff, as well as for planning day trips and activities. We booked a family room and it turned out to be a whole little apartment, so spacious and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. Walking distance from a beautiful beach, tons of restaurants and a big grocery store, and we were able to easily take a public bus into downtown for shopping. We ended up staying here again on our way back through Nadi and would gladly return on our next visit!

Negative: WiFi isn’t always super reliable- we had cellular data so it didn’t bother us much but just something to keep in mind.

Summary: Family-style hospitality in a convenient location!

Positive: Overall, the staff was amazing and really added a feeling of comfort and welcoming to our stay. Mary Rose kept in touch with me prior to our arrival, Vera was at the airport to greet us and drive us to the B&B. She was also very helpful in booking our excursions and was our driver and guide on one of them… she always had a smile and kind words for us. Knox and Sepo were our driver/guide on another excursion and were knowledgeable about the area and history and were fun to be with. Our breakfasts were good… fresh fruit, omelet, bacon, sausage, bread…and the cook adjusted to our preferences. Although not directly on the beach, it is only steps away to not only the beach but also several restaurants and a grocery store. Overall our stay was wonderful… thank you!

Negative: The B&B was what i expected…. It’s not fancy but it provided what we needed. The only thing is that there isn’t really much to do in the immediate area throughout the day except for the beach. The excursions were great to keep us busy through the days.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and a big thank you to all the The Ideal B&B staff!

Positive: The owners treat you like family! They greet you, fix a good- sized breakfast, offer tea and a snack in the afternoon, and provided a large local dinner midday on Sunday. For a fee of less than the taxi fee they will pick you up from the airport. They also arrange excursions for you. All is done with a smile. And it's a short walk away from the ocean. This place is amazing!!!
