Summary: My stay was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy life. I had stressful family business in Dallas (not far away) that had to be done but all my burdens seemed to melt away when I returned to Mallard's Mist. It's easy to unwind when you pull in the drive and there is a beautiful heard of deer.

Summary: The communication was clear and timely from the moment I inquired about the home through our arrival. The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos, and it can very comfortably sleep 10 people if needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped with everything we needed—even a bag of charcoal was provided!The view was serene, and the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. If you're driving, be aware that we saw many deer (Bambi sightings!) both during the day and at night. It's important to drive slowly and stay alert—we truly enjoyed seeing them up close.The host met us at check-in, and the door uses a keycode, which made things even more convenient. We were in town for a family reunion, and this home was the perfect retreat after spending time with loved ones.

Summary: Had so much fun, the hosts are great and so friendly. House is cute and has everything you need. We had a relaxing time fishing and tanning. Definitely will stay again.

Summary: Had an amazing weekend, was not used to spring mattress beds but the peacefulness of the entire area made up for it. If your looking to get away from the noises of the city i would definitely recommend sraying here. The lake behind the house only gets about waste deep, perfect for kids to splash and play in. Once you get out past the boat docks it gets deeper. We enjoyed seeing all the Mallard Ducks, the few deer we seen at night right out by the water.
