Summary: This a very modest, no frills inn, clean and staff is good. Great Tex-Mex restaurant on the property, I recommend it. Very inexpensive, it's not the Ritz but it's very budget friendly. My go-to when I visit the lake!

Summary: Do not eat at the Nietos Mexican Restaurant next door. All I ordered was queso and chips. Queso was vivid orange like cheeze whip, lumpy and got cold quickly. The chips are not fresh. Malakoff is just down the road.... The front desk clerk was nice but got impatient because I don't hear well and she had to repeat a lot. Those sconce lights are really bright. Could use a dimmer option. Overall, my stay was good. I would stay there again.

Summary: Holes in wall, curtain dirty, shower curtains dirty, cockroach on wall in bathroom, front door could see daylight through, definitely won't stay here again!!!

Summary: This place hasn't been updated or cleaned really well in probably 40 years. Dingy, dirty, neglected, and lots of those "landlord special" half-arse repair attempts from previous damage or failed room components. The only bright side is that there were no rats or large bugs.

Summary: The beds are a perfect blend of support and softness. You will sleep well here. It's a nice bonus that there's a Mexican restaurant next door.

Summary: Nice location, close to stores and gas stations but not too close. The price was reasonable. The pillows were too soft for us. Had to buy firmer pillows at the Dollar Store a little further into town. Overall, we would stay here again.
