Positive: A wonderfully relaxing stay nestled among trees, yet so close to the city centre that it’s incredibly convenient. You truly feel like you’re in the middle of a forest. Perfect for self-catering and especially suited for longer stays. It really feels like a home away from home.

Negative: Wish I had the time to have stayed a few days longer!

Positive: Great location- 5 mins from town. It was located up a steep hill which made it feel very remote and private which is exactly what I wanted. The architecture of this property is very interesting as it was built by a British lady many years ago. A fascinating place surrounded by nature. It was spacious and the rooms were very breezy. I had my own private balcony which looked out into the river. They also had a lovely toastie menu. And being from the UK it was lovely to see a sausage and bacon option for breakfast! A little taste of home while in the middle of Sri Lanka. Great music system where u could connect my phone and enjoy some music and music wine. All round great experience!

Summary: Remote and private, it felt like a private castle up on the hill <3
