Welcome to your Healing Retreat a perfect getaway with a perfect view of the sunrise , located just 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville at Leicester, NC, . This domicile has all the amenities needed for a relaxing time in nature as you gaze at the Smokey Mountains and rolling landscape from this rustic retreat in the woods. The Blue Ridge Parkway is driving distance , offering beautiful scenery, waterfalls, and wildlife along with dozens of hiking, jogging, and biking trails.
The space -
The details: The apartment is 800 sq’ and newly created with all new kitchen, appliances, furniture and bathroom. The design is industrial modern with a touch a country with hues of blue, gray and brown. It’s an open spaced studio apartment concept with rugs placed throughout in order to provide comfort and warmth. The mini-split provides heat/AC with a remote to control the temperature to your body's content.
There is one queen size bed as well as a queen size sofa sleeper.
The apartment is in the lower level of the house with its own private entrance. The host lives in the upper level of the house with its own private entrance.

dish soap, body/hand soap, toaster, coffee maker, blender, towels, slippers, iron, mirror, clean sheets, comforters, and more. If there’s anything specifically you may need, feel free to ask.
Guest access -
There is a private entrance to the apartment at the front of the house. To get the spectacular views, there is a paved driveway to drive up. Generally, two wheel drive vehicles can get up the hill, but when there is snow or icy conditions, it can be challenging to get up the driveway. In such a situation, 4--wheel drive is best.

Summary: We loved this place. It is beautifully designed and layed out. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable with luxurious soft bedding. Towels were soft and fluffy. Everything was top quality. Reading area with lots of books on meditation and holistic healing which I enjoyed curling up and reading. Location was beautiful. House is set up high on a hill so the views are picturesque. Outdoor seating areas are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the beautiful hawks and other birds in the area. I appreciated the newly paved driveway as most mountain houses have dirt or rock driveways which can ding up your car. Hosts were very communicative throughout the whole process. They even texted during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy. I would definitely stay here again and regret we couldn’t stay longer.

Summary: This home is very well designed. You will have the lower level to yourself with all the privacy you want. Owners are very respectful of your space but go out of their way to be sure you have everything you need. As a designer with a painting degree, I enjoyed the artwork and design of everything in the space. After spending a day going through the River Arts District and visiting artists' studios, it was nice to come back to the space and enjoy the aesthetic here as well. I really appreciated the reading nook with the comfortable reading chair. As an avid reader, I was pleased to find books on the shelf that are also on my shelf at home. I was able to spend one evening curled up in that chair catching up on some reading after a long day of hiking and doing photography.

Summary: First of all - I will be back! This was the nicest rental/short stay location I've ever had, it was clean and compact, while still having a luxurious feel with the amenities. The kitchen window and the front patio overlook the prettiest mountain vista that makes you feel constantly surrounded by serenity. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, which made the experience a smooth one from start to finish. Highly recommend!!!
