Summary: First of all, the hosts were very nice and quick to respond. The house is nicely decorated and spacious. It is on a somewhat main road so the car noise can be loud. Hence, the 4 stars. We didn’t understand the messages about earplugs until after the first night. We were expecting/hoping for nicer views in the back or front too but that wasn’t the case. Asheville downtown was about 15-20 min away which was convenient. The hiking and falls are a little further out. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Summary: We traveled to the Asheville area to help an elderly family member get settled. The cottage was a great place to have a break from all the work during our time there! There were lovely accommodations for all if us (including our young daughter). Gary and Michelle were excellent hosts and made sure to check on us and make sure everything was good. I definitely recommend staying at this NC cottage!
