Positive: Beautiful interior design, amazing setting, lovely walks,/bike rides, good restaurants nearby.

Negative: If I was buying it (!) the lack of shower would be an issue, but staying for a few days it was actually really nice to slow down a little and enjoy a bath instead.

Summary: Super friendly and helpful, beautiful interiors and surrounding areas.

Positive: The location and seclusion of the property was particularly what we wanted . Though it was also ldeal for days out to various Cotswold towns and other areas of interest.

Negative: I don’t have any dislikes though a shower would have been nice.

Summary: Without doubt one of our most relaxing holiday breaks

Positive: We really liked this place. The hayloft has lots of rural charm. It’s very peaceful, surrounded by fields, woods and a few stone houses and farm buildings. The bed is big and really comfortable. Furniture is a well-chosen mix of vintage, reclaimed and designer pieces. Just a couple of things to be aware of... As you walk from one end to the other you pass under five beams about 5'9" above floor level. No problem if you are able to duck easily, but for taller people with limited mobility it’s worth taking note. Also, the hayloft is very open plan - for example the toilet is in a cubicle which has a door but no ceiling. Fine if you are comfortable with that. The location is great for exploring. Woodchester Mansion, Stroud, the mini-food haven Nailsworth and the outstanding viewpoint Coaley Peak are all nearby. Highly recommended.

Negative: Shower would have been helpful, even if only to wash hair over lovely bath!

Positive: Beautiful setting. Surrounding countryside lovely. Peaceful location. Host made us feel welcome and lovely touches such as fresh butter, milk, bread, eggs etc helped us get settled. Bed very comfortable and huge! Real farm location so surrounded by dogs, ducks, geese etc - All delightful! Design beautiful and everything very stylish. Host attentive and even helped us out when we had a minor issue with the car - Thank you! Really relaxing stay - highly recommended.

Negative: No shower, only a bath. Very low beams so poss not great for anyone very tall. Lighting by mirror could be a little better for make up etc. Toaster had very narrow slots so you need to be an expert bread cutter :-) I'm not, so had to play roulette with the smoke detector! Slight smell in loft (wood preservative?) - this cleared after some air let in... All very minor stuff - nothing really to 'not like'.... Positives well outweigh and niggles...

Summary: Lovely venue for a short stay. Stylish, comfortable and quiet. Real opportunity to relax.

Positive: Very cosy converted hayloft, particularly liked the interior design and layout. Set in a tranquil farm. Though the fresh bread and eggs and milk on arrival was a very nice touch, loved the layout and bath area. Set on a very tranquil farm and surrounding area, will definitely stay again.
