Cot/highchair provided on request. Separate fully equipped utility room. Living area opens directly on to patio with views of open fields and rolling countryside. Plenty of outdoor space for children to play. Up to two small well behaved dogs welcome. Lots of walks directly from the property on quiet lanes, tracks and paths. Summary: It's a lovely barn conversion, if anything the photos do not do it justice as it was bigger than we expected. Warm and comfy in January and very clean.Very remote and safe with the owners living in the house if ever needed, but they leave you to do as you like after checked in. Your neighbours will be the chickens you see out the window.It's at the top of a steep hill either side, so be aware you need to drive unless super fit and keen to hike up and down to the villages. Lovely location for that, a great local pub (The Hog) and then Nailsworth Village has a range of food and drink options, more than you would expect for a small village.

Summary: We found Swallows Rest to be exactly as described and was a bright clean and warm sanctuary, lovely to come back to each day after exploring and walking in the Cotswolds countryside. Could not fault it. Everything supplied and wonderful hosts. Nothing fancy but all goof.
