Positive: Very attentive staff, & really great atmosphere at this pub (we don't speak Welsh but still felt very welcomed in the bar), evening meal & breakfast were truly excellent. My wife raved about the Plaice.

Negative: Our room was very warm (better than very cold of course!)

Negative: Unfortunately I don’t think that rooms should be booked out on nights when town events are happening. We were really looking forward to a tranquil evening in a rural location which is what the accommodation sells itself as and the pub music and noise went on incredibly loudly till 11, we had to leave our room, and then we had stragglers sat right outside our window till 1 am and couldn’t open our bedroom window in the heat as we could hear their entire conversation. We got a warning about the event three days before when we had booked three months in advance so little we could say to change it. There is no parking for guests when these events are on either. The bed was not the most comfortable, bath did not work.

Positive: It was a beautiful area. The room was a bit small but very clean and had a great view. A lovely breakfast. Close to the pretty town of Denbigh.

Negative: A bit noisy for a short while but this stoped at 10
