Summary: Our room was filthy. Floors were covered in prior guest debris and hair. No towels, soap, pillows when we first arrived, but a call downstairs got those items quickly. It looked like our room wasn't ready for occupancy, no clock, hangers, extra lock on door. No blackout curtains, so at night, room was too lit up from outside lights.

Summary: I visit the Philly area every few months and this hotel is always competitively priced. So this time I took the plunge and stayed. I won't be doing it again. The hotel is pretty threadbare, and it looks like the owners are running the asset down with minimal investment. Curtains did not block the outside light, bathroom was worn. I guess you get what you pay for.

Summary: For this to be a newly renovated hotel, the look was subpar. The layout of the room leaves much to be desired. As soon as the for opens you are net with a small area to place your bags then immediately the desk and chair are there impeding the walkway. Directly next to that is the dresser. The bedding is of the lowest quality I've ever experienced the pillows look like they are from the prior owner. I booked a room for 2 adults. I was not given the proper amount of towels. I called the front desk and they never brought the other towel. We had to go get it ourselves. The temperature of the room was not able to be controlled. On our second day the front desk staff gave me a disgusted look while demanding my room number as I was exiting while taking a phone call which could be a safety concern.

Summary: Second stay there, first time was nice, this time was disappointing. The cleanliness of the common areas (with exception of the lobby, and the room were below par (no pun intended). The biggest problem was the noise and commotion in the courtyard AND in the hallways on both Friday and Saturday. From 11:00 PM on there was a lot of yelling and arguing throughout the property. The noise continued throughout until nearly 3:00 AM. It escalated into loud arguments and fighting from 12:30-3:09 AM. It moved into the building where there was banging on doors on the third floor where apparently people were locking others out of the rooms. A couple times I was close to calling the police because things were getting out of control.

Summary: First of all, I saw a MOUSE in my room - several times. It was late at night so I didn't bother to tell the front desk until the morning. Changing rooms does not solve a mouse problem and it was too late to find another hotel. Secondly, the windows don't open and the room was rather stuffy. Lastly, the overall decor is, shall we say, disjointed. It was rated 7.8, however, I would give it a 6.5.

Summary: This could be a great, quirky boutique hotel but it is currently let down by a lack of investment and sloppy management. The courtyard and structure is fantastic but the lobby and front entrance are poor/drab. The rooms are clean but the public areas are dirty. Get it clean and carry on the courtyard character to thre lobby and it would be so much better

Summary: Very nice room for the price. Stayed 4 nights. Bed was comfortable and Room was clean. Only issue on last day was a lack of hot water in the bathroom. Staff said one of the hotel’s water heaters had failed early this morning and was being replaced. Will stay again next time I’m in town.
