Summary: It's an old fashioned inn - a pub with bedrooms above. The rooms are full of character, especially "The King" which we stayed in had some fun features and a great view over towards the castle. Room was clean, well presented, with all the niceties you would want and expect (tea/coffee, water, mini toiletries). It's a great location too - but it's not for those who would be put off by low ceilings and rickety staircases.

Summary: I had a very pleasant stay there and the staff were very helpful. The slightly annoying thing was the bulb for the bedside lamp needed replacing and the room was very cramped. I probably won't stay the night there again but will consider having a drink and a meal there if I'm in the area.

Summary: The area to the side of the property was particularly nice as you can walk freely along the Thames. Highly recommend the breakfast esp the Eggs Hollandaise! Cheers!
