Positive: The Floretine is such a gem!!! A truly magical place. I stumbled upon the Floretine last minute on my drive down the OR coast. I only stayed a night in the Merlot Manor and really wished I could stay longer. I was greater my the very friendly cat and also had a very warm welcome by the owner - I interrupted the shower before bed and she was so sweet and welcoming! Such a treat after a long drive in the dark. Her story about how she founded the place is so inspirational. You can tell that a lot of care and thought was put into building the place. There is so much charm in every single detail - it’s a total vibe that’s not to be missed. I am an interior designer and really appreciated all the finishes of the cottage - I felt immediately at home. This was my first stop on my vacation and this place made me feel immediately relaxed, and was the perfect start to my vacation. The property is located directly on the water with magical views! I came in December on a cloudy day and still enjoyed it! This place would be perfect during the summer for kayaking. The room has HUGE windows - I watched the sunrise, saw a hummingbird and enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of the area. Bonus: - private patio with hot tub - full well stocked kitchen with an adorable retro fridge - hot linen machine! I’ve never used one and this was such a luxury - pet friendly! My dog Rylee loved it! If you’re in the area or want a getaway to feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and pampered, this is your place. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay

Positive: The waterfront view is amazing, not to mention the clear view of the stars and night sky. The rooms have been nicely refurbished with attractive details.

Negative: The room was a bit cold, but that wasn’t a problem for sleeping

Positive: Super cute resort with beautiful lakeside views. The cabin was nicely decorated and loved the convenience of the small kitchen area. The deck was great to evening wine and morning coffee.

Negative: It was difficult to find in the dark. The seating in the cabins was not super comfy, it would be great to have a little bistro table and some more comfortable chairs for the living area.
