Positive: Judith was very welcoming, and recommended the best places to eat in the area, and the best places to walk. The breakfast was superb, and really sets you up for the day. The room was warm and clean. The location was very quiet. Free car parking onsite. Good WiFi. Very comfortable bed.

Positive: Judith was very friendly and greeted us with the kind offer of a fresh pot of tea and home baked scones which we found a lovely touch . The room was very comfortable and spotless clean with lovely big bath sized towels. The breakfasts were excellent obviously freshly cooked, nothing too much trouble. A very enjoyable stay we would definately go back and recommend to friends .

Positive: The Firs B&B & Tearoom is lovely. Judith messages prior to the stay re: allergies and arrival time and catered for our requests of dairy free vegetarian breakfast & late arrival. The tearoom, where we had breakfast, is very pretty and the bedroom was spacious with an ensuite. Everywhere was immaculate! Judith was welcoming and explained where places were to eat in the evening. The B&B is very ideal if visiting the Nidderdale llamas - literally 5 minutes drive. There is a carpark and plenty to do / see nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Positive: We chose the firs because of the location. We wanted to visit Fountains Abbey and York. Brimham Rocks, only two miles from the Firs is also a must. The room was very comfortable with lots more storage than an average hotel.

Summary: Our first trip to beautiful Yorkshire, a lovely place to stay.

Positive: Lovely host. Superb breakfast served at the table not on a buffet. Nice clean room and really good parking. The room was lovely and warm.

Negative: Like a previous guest we found the bed a little hard but do understand it is difficult to please everyone.
