Negative: No access to a refrigerator, no breakfast and we had to plug the water kettle into a socket on the floor.

Summary: We wouldn’t stay here again. Not because it was terrible, but we’d like more amenities.

Positive: Large comfortable rooms with excellent shower, a fridge and a kettle. Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful location and only 10 min walk to the Periyar park entrance.

Negative: Nothing. You do need to close AND lock windows securely as monkeys pulled open our closed window. The staff were really lovely and helpful.

Positive: Amazing location. Clean and staff were lovely. Monkeys everywhere. Would deffo return.

Negative: Our room wasn't ready so we were put in a different room for the night which was an inconvenience.

Positive: It's really a good homestay with all facilities Close to the market too. We loved the stay It's not really that expensive either as compared to other hotels there. The hotel is quite cozy and comfortable with all its clean

Positive: The Location is at a walkable distance from the Market, cultural program centre, boating area. The room was very comfortable, had a kettle, tea and coffee.

Negative: When the staff told me to keep the door of the balcony shit as there are monkeys around and they might take your belongings if they by any chance enter into the room was a bit disappointing for me. I had specially booked the room with a balcony view to enjoy the street view.

Positive: The room was very clean and well maintained. The host were very nice and always available. The location is good.

Negative: The room we stayed in was a bit small and basically equipped (other rooms in the property are larger and fully equipped but cost more). Adding a kettle would be nice. The price is a bit higher than what we normally pay for this kind of room, but it seems this applies to Thekkady in general.
