Positive: Very beautiful and quiet location in the midst of nature. Gorgeous view of the mountains from most rooms, very peaceful and restful place. Clean, attentively furnished rooms. Delightful home cooked breakfast, very kind and welcoming host..

Negative: Host is very friendly and forthcoming, only shortcoming he tends not to answer messages and gave me the wrong information on the bus schedule. But this was a minor issue in a highly enjoyable stay!

Summary: Can definitely warmly recommend the place, still close to the park , but outside of the bustle and chaos of the Town

Positive: Panthalams Homestay was incredible & I hope one day we can return. A lovely family who are so kind and helpful. Getting us out of bed to show us a Sambar deer (which we were very grateful for!), managing to get us tickets for the sold out Kalari show, dropping us off in town and helping us sort out our onward journey. Breakfast each morning was delicious, especially the pineapple juice! Despite there being no AC the fan is very powerful and the room was very cool. Room was very clean with a great view and the upstairs terrace with hammocks was a lovely way to wind down in the evening. Thank you Panthalams Homestay - wish we could have stayed for longer!

Positive: Shukkoor was very helpful with everything, including helping me book local hikes. It was good to have someone who knew the area well. I suggest the super deluxe room with the amazing view!

Positive: I loved everything about this stay. The scenery was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, the shower had the best pressure and the people made it unforgettable. So kind, he even drove me places he didn't have to. Would definitely stay again. Was close walking distance to bus station and good reccommendation for a delicious dinner.

Negative: Do not leave the bathroom window open unless you want I visit from the cheeky monkeys.
