Positive: The location was great. In the city centre but up a side street. So no noise from footfall or traffic. Easy access to the city and parking. The house was comfortable,clean and had everything that we needed. Host had left milk, tea bags and a bottle of Prosecco Which was appreciated. Also lots of information before and during our stay. Couldn’t have asked for anything better and will be returning.

Positive: We had a brilliant stay at The Duke’s Townhouse and couldn’t recommend it more highly! The house is absolutely beautiful, full of Victorian charm and character, and instantly feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in. Charlotte was a fantastic host and had left the fridge thoughtfully stocked with a bottle of fizz, milk, and other essentials like tea and coffee, which was such a lovely touch and made us feel really at home straight away. The property was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and felt really cosy throughout our stay - especially with the warm atmosphere and the cosy fire, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day out. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we slept really well. The property is also fully equipped with everything you could need, while still keeping that authentic Victorian feel that makes it so special. The TV has Sky alongside practical extras like an ironing board and washing facilities, which was really helpful. We also loved the thoughtful touches, especially the games and books about Chester, which added a really personal and homely feel. The location really could not be better. You just walk across the road and you are straight into Chester city centre, it could not be any closer. Chester is also a lovely city with plenty of history and great options for an evening out, all right on the doorstep. Just a fantastic stay overall, in a cosy, beautiful property, and we would happily return without hesitation. Thank you - highly recommended!

Positive: Stunning property. Immaculately furnished yet still keeps its old style dickens Xmas house feel. Perfect location 1 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Great host nothing too much trouble and we even had a Xmas tree in the lounge along with a toastie warm fire. Will definitely stay again. Absolutely perfect.

Positive: Beautifully decorated property with lots of lovely features. Comfy beds and nice large shower with nice toiletries. Bottle of Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch /tea coffee etc. Can walk into town within 10 minutes . We came by train so didn’t need to worry about parking. Host Charlotte answered all my questions really quickly and was really helpful.😊
