This detached, cosy holiday property is located in a lovely rural part of Cheshire, with a wonderful private patio looking out over the fields, and flexible sleeping arrangements in the way of a zip and link style kingsize bed, that can be arranged as twins by prior arrangement with the owner. In the grounds of the owners’ small farm, it provides an ideal base for walkers being close to the Sandstone Trail and Eddisbury Way and there being a number of footpaths locally. The village of Kelsall is a short distance away and the delightful leafy Delamere Forest Park is a short drive. This property also makes a great base for exploring the historic city of Chester with its cathedral, city walls, unique shopping Rows and lively nightlife. Shop 1.4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Summary: Lovely little cottage which is well equipped and in a peaceful setting with the added attraction of a small herd of cows in the adjoining field providing entertainment with breakfast. Ideal for exploring Chester and the surrounding area. Welcoming hosts who are very informative.

Summary: Weetwood Lodge is lovely, as is Gillian, the owner. She was very helpful and full of tips and advice about the area. She even gave us a 2 4 1 voucher for a meal at the Royal Oak! The nearest grocers was about a half hour walk ( or a 5 minute drive!) and the 3 pubs were between 20 and 30 minutes walk. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we could want. We would definitely go there again.
