Positive: Warm welcome on arrival and shown to our rooms. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were a good size and very clean and warm. Evening meal was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. Good choice at breakfast and lovely packed lunch kept us going on our long walk. Host and staff were cheery and more than helpful. A great place to stay

Positive: Full of character and history in a beautiful setting. Denise the Manager and the breakfast chef were both very helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were exceptional and they provided a very good packed lunch.

Positive: Everything about The Delnashaugh is charming and comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious, well equipped and perfectly clean. The bar and lounge area are cosy and inviting (the log burner fire in the evening was a nice touch!). We really enjoyed the 3 course set menu dinner (including vegetarian option for my partner) and the breakfast options. I can imagine a set menu isn't for everyone but it added a rustic charm and the food was delicious. The Delnashaugh is understated but a gem of a place to stay - and within easy reach if you're walking or cycling The Speyside way as we were.

Negative: For people cycling The Speyside Way a bike storage shed may make things easier for the staff to deal with. We were given several options for where to put our bikes and were confident that they were safe but a shed might make it easier with mucky bikes.
