Summary: Our mixed party had great options. Some went cycling on paths, walks around Glenlivet were numerous and the hill runners in our group enjoyed the views. Blairfinlay and Drumin castles were a hit with young and old! Best of all was the Aga!

Summary: A wonderful location for a large group wanting to explore the Cairngorms and North of Scotland. Spacious and character-filled accommodation with the large family kitchen and ever-warm Aga as a cosy gathering point. Perfect for our extended family. Maggie, the host, was helpful and communicated well. The scenery was stunning.

Summary: We loved this huge, spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen is big and well-equipped: very pleasurable for cooking with family. The dining room is vast and has a very large table where we enjoyed many nice meals. You can easily go for walks right from the house. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Summary: We planned this trip in memory of our mom, grandma and great grandmother. This was a perfect place for our family vacation. The house exceeded our expectations. All the rooms were comfortable and had real character. It was quiet but still central enough for any activities. Helen and her husband were terrific, helpful, welcoming and rescuing. The kids loved the chickens. We all were sad to leave.

Summary: This was now our 4th trip to Scotland since 2011. Glenlivet House was a perfect staging point for our tours into this marvelous country. Quiet, clean and in mint condition we were able to spend two weeks enjoying the Cairngorms and the Highlands. Maybe the Dining room chairs could benefit from new seats, but that's just a minor point. The contact with Maggie was very kind and friendly, adding to the nice experience. Thank you very much!

Summary: Lovely property, lots of features and an excellent size. Need to modernise one of the bathrooms a little. Aga was brilliant, great parking and spacious. Inside a little dated but goes with the property and as expected. Would use again.
