Positive: It was an extremely satisfying experience all round. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the host and a warm fire inside. There was a loaf of freshly baked bread and all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable and provisions for meal preparation excellent. If you needed anything to make the Cairngorm visit complete this was it !! We recommend it very highly.

Positive: Falls cottage was quiet, cosy, clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed, and I would especially recommend it for families with smaller children. The children played chess and shuffleboard in the evening and went out to play in the little wood on the property while we made dinner. There was a Wendy House and a swing to play on. The owners were lovely, and there were treats waiting for us when we arrived. We also loved having a fire each night to relax, and the beds were really comfortable.

Negative: None.

Positive: Nice cottage, very well equipped and clean. Wonderful location if you need a break. Hosts were super kind and offered help if needed any. There was fresh bread and jam waiting for us. Super experience! :)

Positive: We were met at the door of the cottage by the owners with keys and inductions and found fresh bread and homemade jam! There was a wood stove that added comfort and ambiance. A lovely backyard full of birds and a beautiful covered seating area outback.

Positive: We had an exceptional stay at Falls Cottage for 3 nights, the owners were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. We particularly liked the freshly baked bread and homemade jam that was there when we arrived. It was delicious and was great for breakfasts. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and has good facilities. The location is beautiful and idyllic with a lovely garden/ bird feeders by the window to watch the birds in the morning. Walking distance to the packhorse bridge and the Glenlivet distillery. Ballindalloch castle is also worth a visit. We loved the log burner in the living room which the owner lit for us so it was on when we arrived. Was tastefully decorated and done out. Wish we could have stayed longer! A very relaxing stay thankyou.

Negative: The kitchen was well equipped the only thing that would have been helpful to have was a bottle of cooking oil but we managed using the butter that was provided.

Positive: The property is truly outstanding. We loved the tranquillity of the cottage along with the comfort. The property had plenty of space for 4 people, the grounds were well kept and the cottage was clean. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. Koos and Carolyn were very nice and welcoming hosts. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare home cooked meals. We really appreciated the baked bread and homemade jam upon arrival. The fireplace was so nice to come back to after a day of exploring. We were so sad to have to check out of This gem of a cottage, but we will be sure to book again. Highly recommend.

Positive: Very comfortable and well equipped with many extras for enjoyment of guests such as filled bird feeder which attracted forest birds in easy view of dining table. Wood supplied for use. Homemade bread and jam as a welcome gift. All on one level with parking directly outside so would be suitable for less able visitors. Hosts, including sister Swaney providing holiday relief for Koos and Carolyn, very pleasant indeed.
