Positive: Quality of food- excellent, well done Super choice of real ale and comfy pub. Excellent comfortable room

Negative: Noisy there was a private party adjacent to my room, which was unfortunate, but it may have been nice to be aware in advance or be offered a slight discount for my stay, because it was extremely noisy until 2330hr. As a solo occupant, I paid the same price as 2 people for the room (twin)

Positive: Brilliant stay, the staff were amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast selection was good and the cooked breakfasts were delicious, had Eggs Benedict on the first morning and scrambled eggs the following. The evening meal was also amazing with a good selection including several vegan options. Parking is tight when the restaurant is busy but there's parking out the front too so no drama. The room itself was clean and well appointed, a nice selection of toiletries and big fluffy towels (that my daughter loved). Both beds are very comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. All in all a lovely stay, I'm sure we'll be back.

Negative: Feedback rather than complaints as none of this would stop us going back. The beds in the twin room are a bit tired, still functioning but repaired with brackets that aren't pretty. The hedge is starting to grow through the window, not a problem but it needs trimming back. Finally the bathroom has a glazed window, while this is frosted glass it does remain quite see through and a privacy blind on the door would be good.
