Positive: The cottage is self-catering with a spacious well-equipped kitchen. All the rooms were large and well-appointed. It was handy to have a downstairs loo as well as the upstairs bathrooom . The star attraction for most people will no doubt be the swimming pool, which guests have to themselves. The family were charming, very friendly and helpful and invited us to diinner on our last night, which also happened to be our anniversary. All in all it is a very uinusual, beautiful and restful place and for us was a happy experience. I am a writer and got several thousand words of a novel done during the week. No review could be complete without thanking the excellent dogs and chickens, who roamed the lawn together, and kept us amused. We arrived as strangers, parted as friends. I can't recommend it too highly.

Negative: Picking up a puncture on the way down from the Lot. Happily it was something our hosts were able to sort out for us with a phone call.

Summary: Enchanting.
