Positive: Staff very helpful. Very good location. Everything on your doorstep for Chester city. Cathedral opposite . Everything clean and lovely, big room. Night Porter was very helpful as we arrived after midnight, he helped us and made us feel very welcomed. Has all the facilities for food and drink we didn't use as visiting family but smelt lovely. Plenty of choice for food and drinks around location. Nice towels, they actually dry you. Good shower. Plenty toilet roll. Nice shampoo etc..used these. Plenty of tea coffee and would get you more if needed. Got me some honey for my coffee, nice . Iron is a good one and nice not to have to ask for one . Really lovely stay.

Negative: We were at the side by town hall so you could hear bins being emptied but went straight back to sleep. If you want city centre location you need to understand these jobs need doing when all others sleeping. It was OK . There is nothing to dislike. Got everything you need for mini break.
