Summary: Staff friendly as always , lovely hotel in a lively town . The walk along the prom is always enjoyable - nice scenery and plenty of fresh air. Always look forward to our 4 - 5 weeks at the Cliff each year

Summary: Rooms are tired and dated. Not much storage for clothes. Bathroom floor gets drenched from a shower. Walls are paper thin and could hear everything from the drunk. Staff offered to talk to them but could not move us easily as a wedding was on. Breakfast is good

Summary: The staff were excellent but the reception and bedroom decor is tired. Threadworn stair carpets, sofas with ripped fabric, paint chipped and noisy sliding shower doors which I could hear each side and above me.
