Positive: Amanda was a very welcoming and attentive host, checking in with us on arrival via Whatsapp, which we appreciated. The place was beautifully presented and very welcoming. We were impressed by all the many beautiful, stylish touches and the range of facilities and things on hand. We really did have everything we needed. It's a really cosy cottage and very characterful.

Positive: Good central location. Nowhere is very quick to get to on the country road network. But hey, we're on holiday so it doesn't matter.

Negative: Unfortunately I hurt my back just before this, and I was on crutches. It's hilly, and some of the sites, and walks were out of my range. If you're fit, it would be no problem, and a nice area. Just not for me this week. The cottage was great, with parking and a great double garage.

Positive: What wasn't to like. Beautiful cosy cottage, comfy beds and pillows, fully enclosed garden for the dogs and a friendly helpful host. We ordered the food hampers and they were delicious, there was nothing to fault and beautifully presented, but what topped it for me was the personalised doggy treat bags and the water in a bowl ready for their arrival. There were just so many nice touches. We stayed for four nights I just wish it had been a week, we'll be back!
